I have been able to make a decent amount of progress through the Notebook problems. It’s a bit of review for me but at least I am still encountering challenging problems. For these problems I was able to seek out help from the TAs, Ms. Corbett, and my fellow classmates to find my mistakes and have a successful result. For the next day of Summer App Space, I would like to finish most of my work at a faster pace while still having successful results. I would also like to have a better understanding of python as a language while also improving my coding skills.

It was interesting to hear from a Caltech professor and a Quality Assurance Engineer from Snap Chat. They gave very insightful advice about how they got into their fields. It is a great opportunity to hear from these people from different fields. I would like to be able to finish all the notebook problems and even both Capstone problems.

With a little bit more review on both Notebooks 1 and 2, I was able to complete a few more of the problems. I am still struggling a bit with Notebook 2 but am slowly making progress. The more practice problems that i am able to solve gives me a clearer view of what the Notebook problems are trying to accomplish and they are easier to solve after solving the practice ones. I would like to understand the concepts a bit more, with a better understanding I will be able to finish the Notebook problems with more efficiency and be able to know what I am learning.

I have been able to make tons of progress for something I’ve never learned before. It was a bit difficult to understand class but once I figured out how they worked I was able to do most of the problems. The only difficulty that I am mainly having is trying to call an instance variable within a class. I would like to be able to call an instance variable from within a class more efficiently.

I was able to finish most of the work with only two problems left and the capstone. It was a bit difficult to figure out how to finish the problems but I was able to eventually finish by searching on the internet and with the help of a few of my fellow students. I would like to be able to code in Python more efficiently and be able to solve more difficult problems.

I was able to finish most of problem one but I am having trouble downloading the new pictures. I was able to finish most of the exercises within the textbook while I was waiting for the downloads to finish. I want to be able to understand the material for this week more since I’m probably overthinking the process and because I am having difficulty figuring out how to solve the problems.

7/21/2017

I wasn’t able to get very much work done on the problems since I was put in the tarpit so early in the day but I was able to try out Anaconda and Git Bash. I would like to finish the last few problems and have a better understanding of SQL.

7/24/2017
